If you find yourself wandering through Ambarawa and in search of a cozy spot to unwind, SanKen Cafe is the jewel you won't want to miss. Nestled on Jl. Mgr. Sugiyapranata, this charming cafe has garnered a reputation as a go-to destination for locals and visitors alike. With its welcoming vibe and a menu that promises a delightful culinary experience, SanKen Cafe is the perfect spot for casual gatherings and leisurely afternoons.

The interior of SanKen Cafe strikes a delightful balance between simplicity and charm. Adorned with basketball figurines and model cars carefully displayed in glass cabinets, the decor offers a glimpse into the playful spirit of the café without overwhelming its guests. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, making it an ideal backdrop for catching up with friends or enjoying a quiet moment with your favorite book.

Sensory delights await you at SanKen Cafe. Although not elaborately fanciful, the food is undeniably homely and brimming with flavor. The menu features a comforting selection of dishes, with a standout being the cordon bleu, which has received rave reviews from families like that of customer V.T. who noted, “my kid loves the cordon bleu.” It showcases a harmonious blend of crispy breading enveloping tender meat, complemented by a melty cheese center — perfect for satisfying your cravings. Diners will also appreciate the affordability, making it an excellent choice compared to touristy cafes in Yogyakarta.

While tasty offerings and a clean setting are a given, it's worth noting that some guests wish for a touch more warmth from the staff. As Binti Siswadi aptly pointed out, enhanced communication and cheerful service could elevate the experience even further. Nevertheless, the quality of food and the cafe's clean environment make up for any minor shortcomings.

For anyone searching for a tranquil haven to enjoy their coffee while soaking up the friendly atmosphere, SanKen Cafe stands ready to serve. With its good coffee and tasty food, it earns its reputation as one of the best cafes in Ambarawa. So make your way to SanKen Cafe — it’s not just a meal; it's an experience waiting to be savored.

Good place for small gathering only. Good taste, clean place, and the internet connection is good. Thing that should be improved is the servants. They are good but less communicative. Be more cheerful and humble please

Very nice cafe, ranked first on google search, and that's why we picked the place. No fancy decor, just simple interior with basketball figurines and model cars displayed neatly inside glass cabinets. Food is homely but tasty, my kid loves the cordon bleu, and the price is just right, if not below average you usually find in touristy cafes in Yogyakarta. So worth the visit, and it's only stone throw away from the Railway Museum.
